About
Bio
Working across installation, education, performance, and design research, Ottonie von Roeder stages immersive situations in which participants collectively renegotiate systems of ecological resources, labour, tourism, food production, museums, and human–non-human relations. Through the experience of these speculative realities, her work opens space to question existing structures and rehearse new ways of living, working, and caring together. Her practice often unfolds through collaborative processes that bring together diverse forms of knowledge, participation, and collective imagination.
