Home Tours is a fictional travel agency that designs touristic experiences inside the travelers' own homes. By turning familiar domestic spaces into holiday destinations, the project reimagines tourism as a tool for shifting perspectives on everyday environments, the body, and identity.

Guided by an AI, participants embarked on personalized excursions through their own homes, where ordinary objects, routines, and spaces became destinations for exploration. The digital experience could be booked online, and before the tour, participants completed a questionnaire about their home, interests, and touristic preferences and submitted a floor plan and photographs of their living space. These materials formed the basis for designing individual tours tailored to each participant and their domestic environment.

Adopting the perspective of a non-human guide, the experience invited participants to reconsider familiar notions of home, dwelling, and everyday life through a series of conversations, sensory exercises, music, and meditative moments. The project explored how interactions with AI could create moments of reflection on personal routines, identities, and relationships to the spaces they inhabit.

The development of the project was supported by Goethe-Institut Milan and funded by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony.
